Job Summary

We are looking for a seasoned Sales Director who can develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business objectives. The successful candidate will lead and motivate a high-performing sales team to deliver exceptional results while identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with key customers and partners.

Responsibilities

Sales:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
  • Sales Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to deliver exceptional sales performance.
  • New Business Opportunities: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and networking.
  • Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for improvement and create action plans.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, product development, and customer support, to optimize sales performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with industry developments, emerging trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Trade Shows and Exhibitions: Responsible for marketing efforts at trade shows and exhibitions.

Project Management:

  • Project Oversight: Supervise the project management team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and optimize project management processes and methodologies, ensuring continuous improvement and efficiency.
  • Project Performance Monitoring: Monitor and report on project performance, identifying risks and issues, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, technic, or engineering, or a similar field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of automotive sales experience, with at least 5 years in a sales management role.
  • A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience in strategic sales planning, customer relationship management, and team leadership.
  • Advanced understanding of product calculation and costing.
